Hi, I'm Max. I shoot portraits for families and, also, engagements & weddings in Southern California.

I really enjoy photography because it's the main way I experience the beauty of the world we live in. When I'm shooting it's impossible for me to not feel connected to God and his creation. I also love creating and building things that have great aesthetics so photography is the most practical way for me to fulfill that passion.

How did you get into photography?  I grew up admiring my mother's passion for photography and film developing, then got into photography myself around 2007 through a Black and White film class with my friends. In 2012 I got married and decided to create a business in order to build something that I can be proud of and make some money as well.

How would you describe your photography style?  Classic, intimate, light-focused.  I freak out when I see good lighting and my photos mostly revolve around that.

What kind of cameras do you shoot with?  Canon full-frame and prime lenses.

Other stuff about me...I'm really laid-back and mostly introverted. I grew up in a Military family which meant we moved a ton so I've learned how to adapt and meet new people.  Ultimately, I really care about relationships, my wife, God, beer, coffee, good movies, interior design and golden hour.
